How to buy Instagram followers without getting burned

Most of the advice on this is written by people selling the thing. So is this. Read it with that in mind, and check everything in it against the site you are actually on — including ours.

Before you pay

Find the rate per 1,000. It is the only number that compares between sites. A page quoting only package prices — $2.99 for 100, $8.99 for 500 — is making that arithmetic harder, and usually because the per-unit price is worse than it looks.

Check what the total is before the checkout, not after. A price that grows at the payment step is the oldest trick in this category. If the number you agreed to is not the number on the card form, leave.

Look for a minimum order and a maximum. Every real service has both, because the supplier does. A site that will sell you any quantity at all has not integrated with anything yet.

Read what happens if it does not arrive. Not whether they promise it will — everyone does — but what they say when it does not. A site with no refund sentence anywhere has decided not to have that conversation.

The one thing that matters more than all of it

Never give your password. Not to us, not to anyone.

Delivering followers works from the public link to your profile — the same address anyone can paste into a browser. There is no technical reason for a growth service to log into your account, and a site that asks has a different business model than the one on its homepage: it can post from your account, message your followers, change your recovery email and lock you out.

This is the single largest risk in the whole category and it has nothing to do with follower counts. If a site asks for a password, that is the end of the evaluation.

What a fair price looks like

Instagram followers wholesale for a couple of dollars per thousand. A reseller adds card fees of around 3%, whatever tax applies, and a margin. Somewhere in the region of $3–$6 per 1,000 is a working business.

Far below that is not a bargain, it is different supply — usually accounts that drop faster. Far above it is somebody betting you will not check the next site.

After you order

Keep the profile public. A private account cannot receive followers. An order placed against one stops, and it usually cannot be restarted.

Do not change your username while it runs. The link stops resolving and the remainder of the order goes nowhere.

Give it the stated window before worrying. Delivery estimates are supplier estimates. "Under an hour" means the queue usually starts within an hour, not that a clock is running.

Keep the order number. It is what any support conversation will be about, and on a site worth using it is enough to look the whole order up without an account.

When it stalls

Partial delivery is common and is usually the supplier throttling rather than anything wrong. A day is not a stall; three days on a service that promised hours is.

At that point the question to ask is narrow: how much was delivered, and what is the refund for the rest? A site that answers with a number is a site that has done this before. A site that answers with an apology and a discount code is telling you it has spent your money.

What nobody can sell you

Followers who care. At any price on any panel, what is for sale is a count, not an audience. The count buys attention for the content you make — it does not replace it, and no wording on any product page changes that.
