Why bought followers drop, and what you can do about it
Last updated September 4, 2026
Every service that sells followers loses some of them. The question is never whether, only how many and how fast — and almost nobody selling them will tell you that in a sentence.
What actually causes a drop
The platform removing the account. Instagram, TikTok and the rest run periodic sweeps against accounts that look automated. When an account goes, every follow it made goes with it. This is the main cause and it is entirely outside any seller's control.
The account being reused. Some supply is rented rather than sold: the same accounts follow, wait, unfollow, and follow somebody else next week.
The supplier's own churn. Panels lose access to networks, switch sources, or close. Whatever they delivered stops being backed by anything.
None of these are things a reseller can prevent. That is worth being clear about, because "guaranteed" implies otherwise.
What retention actually looks like
Nobody publishes real figures, including us, because the honest answer is that we do not have reliable ones — the supplier does not report them and we would be guessing.
What is broadly true across the category: cheaper supply drops faster, faster delivery drops faster, and the first two weeks account for most of it. A count that is still there after a month is usually still there after three.
If a site publishes a precise retention percentage, ask where the number came from. The suppliers do not provide it.
Why refill guarantees are worth less than they read
A refill promise means the seller will top the count back up within some window. In practice three things get in the way.
The supplier flag is unreliable — services named "90 day guaranteed" in wholesale catalogues routinely reject refill requests through the same API that advertised them. The window is short relative to how drops actually arrive. And the promise is only as good as the supplier still existing when you claim it, which in this industry is a real question.
We removed refill claims from our catalogue entirely for that reason, including from service names where the supplier had written it in. Not because refills never happen — because we cannot stand behind the promise, and a promise we cannot keep costs more than the sale it wins.
Other sites make the claim on exactly the same supply. That is worth knowing when you are comparing two pages that look identical apart from a badge.
How to order so it matters less
Slower delivery. A count that climbs over three days is less conspicuous to a sweep than the same count arriving in twenty minutes.
Smaller, spaced orders. Three orders over a month behave differently from one large order, and if a batch does drop, you have lost a third of it.
Do not chase a round number. Topping up repeatedly to hold exactly 10,000 turns a one-off purchase into a subscription to the same problem.
Buy engagement in proportion. A follower count that survives while the posts get eleven likes fools nobody, and the mismatch does more damage than the lower number did.
What to expect from us
We do not sell a refill guarantee and we do not imply one anywhere on a product page. What we do say: if delivery never starts, the order is refunded in full; if it partly arrives, the difference comes back. Those are about our delivery, which we control — not about what the platform does afterwards, which we do not.
